We’re taking audit training to the next level!
Each continent will have a Grand Slam tournament for internal auditors with a particular Serious Business Game training topic.
At each Audit Grand Slam Tournament, you can collect points for the worldwide Top 100 Internal Audit Ranking. The Top 20 ranked internal audit participants and the Top 10 audit teams will each receive ranking points for the Grand Final at the Global Audit Championship.
Since 2023, seven Audit Grand Slam tournaments are planned in Asia & Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and North America. You can earn ranking points at each of the tournaments.
The most successful in the Top 100 Internal Audit Ranking list will receive an invitation to the annual Internal Audit World Cup: The Global Audit Championship.

Who can register?
- Register as an individual or a team of three and pay directly on the website using a credit card. You will receive access to our digital training platform within 72 hours.
- As a corporate customer, possibly with multiple employees, we ask you to contact us directly HERE. Afterward, you will receive an invoice from us, which you can settle via your company’s accounting process.
- In both cases, you will receive a confirmation email from our Customer Success Team.
- Within 72 hours of receipt of payment, we will activate your training account and you can get started immediately.
Who can participate and what is included?
- Everyone is welcome to participate in the 2025 African Audit Championship – there are no restrictions.
- Each participant will receive access to 40+ CPE credits through 15 gamified training sessions, including the exclusive 2025 African Audit Championship Business Game: “Governance Audit Techniques.”
How does the 2025 African Audit Championship work?
- The 2025 African Audit Championship ticket includes 15 gamified training sessions, which you can start immediately. You will also receive a CPE certificate every month.
- The championship will follow the schedule above.
- You can participate anytime during the five-week period using any device (mobile phone, tablet, or laptop) with an internet connection. The event supports a hop-on, hop-off mode, meaning you can train in short sessions of 5 or 10 minutes and continue later at your convenience.
What is the schedule for the 2025 African Audit Championship?
- Starting on 25 August until 03 October 2025, an online AFIIA opening event will feature expert presentations on audit methodology and an introduction to the Audit Grand Slam Tournament. As a registered participant, you will receive a CPE certificate for attending these presentations.
- During the event, you can track your live ranking along with the full leaderboard of the 2025 African Audit Championship. Each participant is assigned a nickname/alias, which appears on the ranking table. Only the top performers will have their real names displayed. Your friends, teammates, and family can follow your progress on LinkedIn and the official website and cheer you on.
- At the end of the 2025 African Audit Championship, there will be an awards ceremony to honor the Top 3 MVPs and the Top 3 Internal Audit Teams. The event will also include additional audit methodology presentations. The awards ceremony will take place at the 2025 AFIIA African Internal Audit Conference and will be live-streamed online, allowing everyone to celebrate the winners.

What are the technical requirements?
You need only internet access and an internet browser to participate. Optimally Google Chrome, since the performance is best.
Who can participate?
It is an open tournament with the goal of spotlighting the reputation and digital relevance of internal auditing. Everybody could take part as a single participant as well as in a team. If you participate in a team, you automatically participate in the individual competition.
Do I have to attend the Audit Grand Slam Tournament at a certain time?
You can participate in the 2025 African Audit Championship anytime and from anywhere during the competition period, from 25 August until 03 October 2025. Join at your convenience – whether it’s in the morning at 8:00, after lunch, or in the evening from your sofa. You have full flexibility to train and compete until the end of the championship. How many internal auditors are in a team?
A team of three internal auditors can register together for the 2025 African Audit Championship. Alternatively, team formation can be arranged later through our Customer Success Team.
When will the grand final of the Audit Grand Slam Tour take place?
